WHAT IS PERCEPTION

Perception 1Perception is the way a person uses their senses to interprate things around them. Different people have different perceptions of things around them. They get their perception of something from using the 5 senses, which are touch, seeing , smell , taste and hearing. They interperate their senses in order to get the perception of things.
This could also be the way some people judge others by just looking at them, by the way a person is dressed or the way they talk.

The saying dont judge a book by its cover is used alot in the outside world, however not many people do this as alot of peoples perception on things are directly linked to the senses they use.
The perception of something can change if the persons senses are not in order or there is a difficulty using them.

Drugs can affect the sight therefore this can altar the way someones perception of reality.
Likewise if you are tasteing something and you already have another taste in your mouth the perception of the taste can be altared. Such as smoking, when someone smokes and if they taste something after they have just smoked the previous taste would be altared therefore their perception of it would be different to if they have not smoked and tasted the same thing.
